How we work
Every ByteBento project starts with a free, fixed-scope proposal and runs in five clear phases. You work directly with the person building it, follow along in your own client portal, and own everything at the end.
What you can expect
Plan and price first
You get a free, fixed-scope proposal with the plan, timeline and price before any work begins. No surprises halfway through.
Work directly with the maker
The person you talk to is the person designing and building it. Nothing gets lost passing between account managers.
Always know where things stand
Every project gets a client portal with live progress, what we need from you, and every delivered file in one place.
You own everything
Code, design files, domain, hosting and accounts are handed over in your name at the end, tracked item by item.
The process
- 01
Proposal
A short call about what you need, then a free proposal with a fixed scope, timeline and price.
- 02
Discovery
We dig into your goals, audience and content, and agree on the details in a written brief.
- 03
Design
Every screen designed for desktop and mobile, with rounds of feedback before anything is built.
- 04
Build
Development, content, SEO and testing on a private staging link you can click through.
- 05
Launch and handover
We go live, walk you through it, and hand over every file, login and account.
Your client portal
Every project gets a portal like the one below: progress, onboarding, the timeline, brand assets you can download, brand guidelines, documents and the handover checklist. This example uses our own brand, so every file in it is real.

Frequently asked questions
How does a project with ByteBento start?
With a short call about what you need. You then get a free, fixed-scope proposal with the plan, timeline and price, before any work begins.
Who will I be working with?
Andrei Marco, who runs ByteBento. ByteBento is an independent studio, so the person you talk to is the person designing and building your project.
What is the client portal?
A page for your project that shows overall progress, the timeline, anything waiting on you, your brand assets and guidelines, documents, and the handover checklist. You can see a working example on this page.
What do I need to prepare?
Usually your existing brand files, the words for your pages, photos, and access to your domain. The onboarding checklist in your portal lists exactly what's needed and what's still open.
Do I own what's built?
Yes. The code, design files, domain, hosting and accounts are handed over in your name at the end of the project.
How long does a project take?
It depends on the scope, and the timeline is set in your proposal before work begins. The portal example shows a 12-week brand identity and website project.
